Lowell can't avoid disabled list
BOSTON -- The Red Sox placed Mike Lowell on the 15-day disabled list on
Wednesday, one day after being forced to leave Tuesday's 19-17 victory over
Texas in the seventh inning with a strained right oblique muscle.
Lowell 今天將作 MRI，情況不樂觀。
未來先發應該 Youkilis 3B / Casey 1B
後段改成 Lowrie 3B / Cora SS
Bailey up; Pauley down
Quick call-up and send-down for David Pauley. He sat in the Sox bullpen
tonight and was then sent back to Pawtucket and DH/1B/OF Jeff Bailey was
recalled.
Don't know if this is the final move on this roster spot. The Sox might be
scouring the waiver wire for another solution and perhaps a corner infielder
who may protect them with Mike Lowell on the DL. Stay tuned.
Pauley 來看一場比賽又下去了，改叫4A等級的 Bailey，當作 DH/1B/OF 替補。
