Just got off the phone with David Murphy, who will be heading back to Providence before he joins the Texas Triple A club in Oklahoma after the weekend. Right now he's heading back to Providence (Pawtucket is in Columbus right now) for another reason entirely... His wife, Andrea, is giving birth to a girl on Saturday. Pretty big week for Murphy. He will stay there on Saturday and Sunday before reporting to Oklahoma. "It's bittersweet," he said. "I've gotten to know all the guys, developed a lot of relationships within the organization. At the same time I'm from Texas and I'm going home." Murphy said he found out that he was a piece in the Eric Gagne by watching TV today, then found out that he had officially been included when PawSox manager Ron Johnson told him shortly after 4 p.m. His agent has been flying all day today, so the two weren't really in contact. He has been contacted by the Texas organization and was told that they are going to give him an opportunity, though they haven't seen much of him so far. 好消息 & 壞消息 同時傳到他耳中..想被應該不好受 Good luck on your future. --
