LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Dodgers announced the retirement of third
baseman Bill Mueller and have hired the 11-year Major League veteran as
a special assistant to the GM, according to Dodgers general manager Ned
Colletti.
Mueller, 35, finishes his career with a .291 lifetime batting average, 85
home runs and 493 RBIs in 11 seasons with the Giants, Cubs, Red Sox and
Dodgers. A former batting champion and Silver Slugger Award winner in 2003,
he was a member of the 2004 World Championship Boston Red Sox.
看到這裡 就想到他令人懷念的身影
包括他轟 Mo 那支再見全壘打
他在 ALCS 第四場那支擊出安打讓 Roberts 跑回來
還有他在 Fenway 最後一個打數和 Teddy 一樣是支全壘打
現在只希望未來的決賽能夠找他來開球
