The Board of Directors analysed and evaluated various alternatives that the Club has been negotiating over the last few months for these audiovisual rights once the current contract expires. It was unanimously decided to accept the highest bid with the most solid guarantees. By signing said contract, Real Madrid are guaranteed to earn more than 1.1 billion Euros for their audiovisual rights over the next seven seasons, including the current one.
