With the Chicago White Sox starting lefthander John Danks, first baseman
Mitch Moreland will be out of the Texas Rangers' lineup for Friday's opening
day.
Manager Ron Washington said on Thursday that he will use Mike Napoli at first
base and Yorvit Torrealba at catcher. Washington explained that as a way of
getting more right-handed bats in the lineup.
Right-handed hitters had a slight advantage against Danks last season,
hitting 275 with a .771 OPS. Left-handed batters hit .270 with a .704 OPS
against Danks. The Rangers will start two left-handed hitters: Josh Hamilton
in center and David Murphy in left.
Washington said Morleand will start on Saturday and ``will be in the lineup a
lot of times against lefthanders.'' Moreland hit .234 with a .577 OPS for 122
plate appearances against lefthanders last season.

所以1壘手Moreland這場將會坐板凳
1B由拿胖來站，先發C則是阿爸
華總表示這個安排是為了讓打線中有更多右打
而Hammy將站CF，LF由Murphy擔任
