The Rangers signed lefty reliever
Neal Cotts to a
minor league deal, MLBTR
has learned. Cotts will not be in Major League camp, notes Evan Grant of the
Dallas Morning News. Cotts, 32 in March, last pitched in the Majors for the
Cubs in '09 before going down for
Tommy John surgery. He later signed minor
league deals with the Pirates and Yankees, though the Yankees released him in
February last year.
