Josh Hamilton heads to Frisco tonight By Richard Durrett As expected, Rangers outfielder Josh Hamilton will begin a rehab assignment tonight in Double-A Frisco. He returned to Texas last night and had a CT scan. The scan showed significant improvement and Hamilton was cleared by Rangers physician Dr. Keith Meister to play. Hamilton, who suffered a hairline fracture in a bone in his upper arm on April 12, is expected to be the designated hitter tonight and Thursday in Frisco. He would then head to Triple-A Round Rock to continue his rehab. So we should have Hamilton and Nelson Cruz in the lineup tonight.
