Rangers recall RHP Warner Madrigal from Triple-A Oklahoma City; Option RHP Guillermo Moscoso to Oklahoma City Arlington, Texas - The Texas Rangers announced prior to tonight's game that the club has recalled right-handed pitcher Warner Madrigal (#60) from Triple-A Oklahoma City. To make room on the 25-man roster for Madrigal, the team has optioned right-handed pitcher Guillermo Moscoso to Oklahoma City. Madrigal will be available in the bullpen for tonight's series opener against Seattle. Madrigal, 25, will be in his fourth stint with the Rangers this season. A member of the Opening Day bullpen, Madrigal has no record with a 10.13 ERA (9 ER/8.0 IP) over 8 relief appearances with Texas this season. His other stints came Opening Day-April 14, May 16-June 2, and June 14-16. Madrigal did not appear with the Rangers during that most recent stint, as his last big league outing was June 2 at New York-AL (3 R-ER/1.0 IP). Madrigal has spent the rest of the season with Oklahoma City, going 2-0 with 12 saves and a 1.83 ERA (8 ER/39.1 IP) over 32 relief appearances at Triple-A. Pacific Coast League batters have hit just .191 (27-141) with 10 walks, 41 strikeouts, and 4 home runs this season off Madrigal. He has made 16 relief appearances since being optioned to Triple-A on June 17, compiling a 1.00 ERA (2 ER/18.0 IP) with 3 walks and 20 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .172 (11-64) average. Madrigal's last appearance came Monday vs. Nashville, posting a save (1.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 1 BB, 0 SO, 16 pitches/10 strikes).
