Beltre dominated the Dominican Winter League for the first two months of the season, posting a 1.88 ERA. Over his past two outings, however, Beltre's ERA has jumped to 2.79. He still is holding opponents to a .167 average with 29 strikeouts in 29 innings. In the Mexican Pacific League, Venados de Mazatlan's Masset was roughed up for two runs on four hits over 1 1/3 innings in a loss to Naranjeros de Hermosillo. The 24-year-old Florida native is tied with Aguilas' David Cortes for the league lead in saves with 15. Here is how the other prospects in the Texas system are doing in winter ball. Dominican Winter League SS Enrique Cruz (Leones del Escogido) -- Did not play this week. OF Freddy Guzman (Leones del Escogido) -- The 25-year-old outfielder is hitting .215 (20-for-93) with two doubles and a triple through 29 games. LHP Derek Lee (Aguilas Cibaenas) -- Lee is 5-0 with a 1.84 ERA. Opponents are batting .262 against him. Mexican Pacific League RHP Michael Bumstead (Caneros de los Navojoa) -- Did not play this week. Venezuelan Winter League 2B Aarom Baldiris (Navegantes del Magallanes) -- Baldiris went 0-for-3 with two runs scored over his past eight games. RHP Kendy Batista (Tiburones de La Guaria) -- The 25-year-old Batista was acquired by Texas during last week's Rule 5 Draft. Batista has spent the fall with La Guaria. He has a 2.63 ERA through 13 relief outings, striking out 25 in 24 innings. 1B Nate Gold (Leones del Caracas) -- Did not play this week. OF Ben Harrison (Caribes de Oriente) -- Did not play this week. RHP Jon Leicester (Leones del Caracas) -- The 27-year-old right-hander gave up three runs on two hits, a walk and a wild pitch without retiring a batter on Dec. 1. --
