http://tinyurl.com/RadioheadHaiti Radiohead auctions tickets for LA benefit show By LiveDaily Staff Radiohead will play a benefit gig in Los Angeles this Sunday (1/24) to raise money for the relief effort in earthquake-ravaged Haiti. According to the band's website, the show is set to take place at The Music Box Theatre at The Fonda. The Fonda has a capacity of about 1,300--a fraction of the size of the venues the band typically plays. "We're trying to raise as much money as possible, so tickets will be sold by auction," reads the band's announcement. The auction is now underway, and runs until 11 a.m. PST Saturday (1/23). As of Thursday night, the minimum bid for a general admission ticket was $225. According to Ticketmaster, all proceeds from the show, including ticket fees, will benefit Oxfam America - Haiti Earthquake Response Fund. Oxfam America is billed as "an international relief and development organization that creates lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and injustice."
