Pacers, Rodney Stuckey have mutual interest?
According to Candace Buckner of the IndyStar, the Pacers and Rodney Stuckey
have mutual interest in getting a deal done together. Stuckey is coming off
of a long tenure with the Detroit Pistons, and is looking to join a team that
he can compete for a championship with.

With the news coming out that Lance Stephenson turned down the Pacers’
offer, it could mean that they are looking at Stuckey to be his replacement.
Stuckey has a very similar play style, but he isn’t as good of a playmaker.
He can’t shoot the three, which could be an issue with Indiana’s offense.
Stephenson had to shoot quite a few threes last season, and that is something
that Stuckey won’t be able to do.

Stuckey played in 73 regular season games last season with the Pistons,
starting in just five of those appearances. He averaged 13.9 points, 2.3
rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game, and provided excellent consistency each
and every time he stepped onto the court. It is still possible that the
Pacers could sign Stuckey as a bench piece, but if Stephenson isn’t coming
back it would be hard to find someone better to replace him in the starting
lineup.
Stuckey在活塞2013-14出賽73場,場均13.9分,2.3籃板,2.1助攻; 溜馬也可以把她當成一個

Overall, this will be an interesting situation to keep an eye on over the
next couple of weeks. The Pacers are still going to try to bring Stephenson
back, but if they are unable to do so they will likely pick up their pursuit
of Stuckey. Expect to hear more news about both Stephenson and Stuckey over
the next few day as free agency continues to move forward.
