Nearly a decade after resurrecting the franchise and leading it to
an NBA championship, Chauncey Billups has reached agreement on a
two-year contract to return to the Detroit Pistons, league sources
told Yahoo! Sports.
雅虎體育得到消息，在帶領活塞重返NBA總冠軍王座將近10年後，槍蜥將以
兩年合約重返活塞。
The deal will be worth $5 million-plus for Billups, league sources
said.
根據消息來源，槍蜥的合約會在5M以上。
Billups, 36, hopes to finish his career where it blossomed in the
glory years of the Billups-Richard Hamilton-Ben Wallace Pistons of
the mid-2000s. Billups will play the part of mentor for young
Detroit guard Brandon Knight, and be a rotation guard off the
bench for Detroit.
36歲的槍蜥，希望能夠在以槍蜥+Rip+班蛙連線(小王子跟溪蛙咧!!??)打造
出2000年代中期黃金年代的活塞結束球員生涯。槍蜥除了將從板凳出發參
與輪替陣容，也將擔任起活塞年輕後衛Knight的導師角色。

Pistons general manager Joe Dumars has long regretted trading
Billups to the Denver Nuggets for the expiring contract of Allen
Iverson in the 2008-09 season. Now, Dumars has brought back Billups
with a mandate to nurture and perform for the Pistons.
活塞總裁杜老爺一直後悔在08年用槍蜥跟金塊換來AI的到期合約。現在杜
老爺把槍蜥帶回活塞，讓他可以打球兼指導。
For Billups, the trade sent him to his hometown Nuggets, where he
played an immense part in the maturity of Carmelo Anthony and the
franchise's growth into a Western Conference finalist. For the
Pistons, the loss of Billups started a spiral that eventually led
to four straight non-playoff seasons. Now, Billups returns with a
mandate to help Detroit's talented young core reach the postseason
again under new coach Mo Cheeks.
當年的交易，槍蜥回到家鄉球隊丹佛金塊，和逐漸成熟的甜瓜一起帶領金塊
打入該年西區決賽。而活塞在失去槍蜥後在搖搖晃晃了一年後已經連續四年
沒有打進季後賽了。現在槍蜥回來就是要幫助活塞的年輕核心們在新教練Mo
帶領下再度回到季後賽。
Billups suffered a torn Achilles tendon in February of 2012 with
the Los Angeles Clippers, but worked his way back to play this past
season with the team. Billups is a five-time All-Star and the NBA
Finals MVP for his performance in the Pistons' 2004 championship
series victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.
槍蜥在去年2月效力快艇時傷到了阿基里斯腱，但上個球季還是回到了場上。
槍蜥5度入選明星賽，並在2004年跟活塞一起奪下總冠軍王座後獲頒決賽MVP。
