FREE PRESS SPORTS WRITER http://0rz.tw/cU24o When rumors circulated a few weeks ago that he was being pursued by power brokers in the Democratic Party to run for governor, Detroit Pistons president of basketball operations Joe Dumars laughed off the suggestion. 數週前傳出乳摸，老杜被民主黨邀請競選州長 他一笑置之 But apparently, there was something to the rumor -- enough for Dumars to release the following statement this afternoon: 但乳摸傳到他不得不出面說些話了 “I am flattered by and very much appreciate those who strongly believed I would make a formidable candidate and an effective governor for the state. But I am not a politician and do not have plans to run for public office. While I certainly will consider new and different business opportunities that come before me on the business front, my attention now is squarely focused on the Detroit Pistons. 謝謝大家的支持，但是我不是一個政治家，也沒有打算參與競選 目前我的重心是放在活塞隊身上 "I love the state of Michigan and am optimistic about its future despite the difficult economic times and immense challenges currently on our doorstep.
