We lost a lot of games and I wasn’t used to that. The speed of the game and size of the players took a few months to get used to. I was, however, able to get a lot of playing time, which helped me gain some valuable experience. My most memorable game in the NBA was my 1st game, which was against the Chicago Bulls. I’m a big Scottie Pippen fan and was able to play against him in my first game ! I had a weekly radio show during the 2004-05 season with WTOP in which I helped review local DC restaurants. It was lots of fun! The second time I was injured was more difficult because I worked so hard to get back from the first injury. To have it happen again was very tough. The best basketball compliment that I’ve ever received has been that I’m unselfish and the consummate teammate. I feel like my best basketball quality is my shooting. I also sponsored a family (three years in a row) for the Wizards Family-to-Family Christmas program in order to assure that some needy families had everything they needed. I also helped donate a basketball court at a local middle school and assisted with feeding the homeless on multiple occasions in DC.
