傷兵將士錄 RHP A.J. Burnett (right calf strain) RHP Jeanmar Gomez (right forearm strain/inflammation) will start a rehab assignment tonight with Indianapolis, throwing four innings or 60-65 pitches. RHP Jared Hughes (right shoulder inflammation) isn’t currently throwing, and is currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation only. He remains in Pittsburgh with the team. RHP Phil Irwin (right ulnar neuritis) also remains no throw, while undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. I spoke with Irwin yesterday, who said he hopes to be back in Indianapolis in six weeks. RHP Jeff Karstens (right shoulder inflammation) has begun the initial phases of his post-surgical rehab from his shoulder procedure last week. RHP James McDonald (right shoulder discomfort) will make his next rehab start with Indianapolis on June 16th. He threw 89 pitches in his last start. LHP Wandy Rodriguez (left forearm tightness) is scheduled for a throwing program today and tomorrow. He’s scheduled for side work on Saturday, but that is tentative. OF Jose Tabata (left oblique strain) is continuing the baseball portion of his rehab program, including swinging, running and throwing.
