Currently, Dr. Chen’s lab at UIC has open positions for Ph.D. students, who can start from 2026 Spring or 2026 Fall semester. Our research mainly focuses on RF/microwave/millimeter-wave/THz antennas and circuits, semiconductor and RFIC technologies, wearable and nearable sensors, electromagnetics, metamaterials, nanophotonics, and quantum science and engineering. He is Distinguished Lecture of IEEE Sensors Council and IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society.
