Job Description The Nishiyama lab ( https://www.duke-nus.edu.sg/nbd/team/nishiyama-jun ) at Du ke-NUS Medical School in Singapore is currently seeking highly qualified and motivated postd octoral research fellows. The selected candidate will participate in projects studying molecular mechanisms underlying synaptic function and dysfunction in neuropsychiatric disorders using a variety of advanced techniques. This includ es CRISPR/Cas9-mediated in vivo genome editing, two-photon imaging and uncagin g, two-photon fluorescent lifetime imaging, and molecular, cellular and mouse genetic approaches. Candidates with strong interest in developing novel molecu lar/optical tools are highly encouraged to apply. Job Requirements: - PhD or MD/PhD degree (candidates) in neuroscience or related fields. - A strong background in molecular and cellular biology, imaging and/or electr ophysiology is preferred. - A candidate who has a specialty in biochemistry, biophysics, or bioengineeri ng is also considered. - Excellent written and oral communication, teamwork, project management skill s.
