As the largest multi-disciplinary university in Macau, MUST is also ranked among the Top 100 Universities in the cross- strait region (http://www.shanghairanking.org/data2013.html). The Wireless Communications Group (WCG) of Faculty of Information Technology in Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) invites applications f or highly motivated full-time students to pursue a Master of Science (M.Sc.) or a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science or Computer Communica -tions (by research). Potential research topics of WCG include (but are not limited to) Performance and Security Issues in Wireless Communications and Wireless Networks. The expectations of the M.Sc. and Ph.D. students are: - Independent, self-motivated and with good personality. - Solid background in Wireless Networks and Wireless Communications. - Strong problem-solving capability. - Good programming skills (C/C++). - Good communication skills in English (written and speaking). We offer a monthly allowance of MOP 5000 ~ 12,000 (Note: 1 MOP = 3.78 NWT) for an admitted student for his/her postgraduate study of 2 ~ 3 years, depending on qualification and experience. Besides, the selected excellent candidates will be offered with additional full-scholarship supports from MUST, such as waiving the full fee or the half tuition fee. In addition, the outstanding M.Sc. and Ph.D. students may be eligible to apply for the Scientific and Technological R&D Award for Postgraduates (MOP 60,000 per person) granted by the Science and Technology Development Fund (FDCT) of Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) during his/her postgraduate study or within one year after his/her graduation (Details can be found in http://www.fdct.gov.mo/en/macau_award.asp).
