********************************* ** HMC 2013 Call for Papers ** ********************************* HMC'13 will take place during International Symposium on Embedded Multicore SoCs (MCSoC-13), Tokyo, Japan, September 26-28, 2013 http://embedded.cs.ccu.edu.tw/~hmc2013/ *Workshop Overview Nowadays, heterogeneous computing systems (HCS) equipped with multicore processors and accelerators are becoming more and more pervasive such as the popular CPU-GPU integration found in systems ranging from mobile devices to supercomputers. This growing trend is forcing programmers to address issues and challenges in adapting legacy serial programs into heterogeneous parallel programs. One of the most critical issues occurs in how applications are mapped and scheduled in HCS so as to satisfy performance and power constraints.
