The possibility to pursue a PhD degree exists. The vacancy shall be filled in 2012. The applicants should hold a master/diploma degree in the areas of Computer Science, Informatics, or Computer Engineering. The working language is English. It is expected to actively participate in research under DFG (German Research Foundation) Priority Program SPP 1500 in http://spp1500.itec.kit.edu/ for dependable embedded systems. Beneficial is basic expertise in one or more of the following areas:"Embedded Systems“, "Compilers“, and "Real-Time Systems".
