During the last 30 seconds of the 3rd Quarter, Amare left the game after a foul. During the free throws by Willie Green (i think) the commentator across Bill Walton (I think it's Mark Jones) was saying that he spoke with Amare the other day and Amare told the commentator that Penny offered him advice about coming back from microfracture surgery. Penny said something like "take your time, be patient with yourself and with the psychology of coming back." Mark then said he spoke with Penny earlier today. He continued by saying that scar tissue is forming in the back of his left knee (which is good) and Penny feels the best he has in 3 years. He finished by saying that Penny's been doing two-a-days in Miami and is working to get back in the league.
