to go," Marbury said. "That's why I threw it to him quick. He thought he
could make a play.
"We didn't know if they were going to come out in man or zone. The way how
it was set was Kurt (Thomas) was going to come set a pick-and-roll,
but when I hit Penny, he went. Sometimes we make good decisions,
sometimes we make bad decisions. If I would have just shot the ball
from the top of the key, it would be like, 'Why aren't you penetrating?'
So I tried to make a play there."
大意是說，「我不想站在弧頂讓大家看我表演，所以我把球傳給他，
他卻以為他能製造一個好球。我們不知道他們要打人盯人還是守區域。
教練給我們的指示是Kurt要出來幫我作一個檔切，但是我一傳給Penny，
他就切入了。有時候我們會做出好的決定，有時候是壞的。如果我就在弧頂射球，
你們又會說我幹嘛不切入，我只是想做出一個好球來罷了～」
