Chris Paul在星期五晚上的夏季聯盟比賽裡扭傷了他的右手腕 (⊙_⊙;)....... X-rays did not reveal any damage Saturday, Hornets general manager Allan Bristow said. Paul sat out Saturday's practice, spending most of it holding an ice bag on his wrist. Paul is listed as questionable for tonight's game against the Orlando Magic. 星期六照過X光之後並沒有顯示出沒有大礙 GM說"Paul不會參加星期六的練習,他將在受傷的部位進行冰敷" Paul's injury came with 1:19 remaining after he drove the lane and fell on his wrist after a hard foul. Paul took several minutes to get up but did not come out of the game. He finished with 12 points in the Hornets' 86-84 loss. "We held our breath for a second, but that would be the case for any injury," Bristow said. "Our trainer, Terry Kofler, said after it happened, he told Paul that they were going to take him out of the game, and Paul told him, 'I can't go out, I've got to finish.' " Paul, the fourth overall pick in the draft, signed a three-year contract last week. "He's fine, but I think if it was last year it would have been broke," said Coach Byron Scott, referring to the litany of injuries the Hornets experienced last season. "But it's just a sprain. He wants to play (tonight), but there's no need. He's showed us in two games what we knew when we drafted him. He's the real deal and the future of this franchise." Forward David West sat out Saturday's practice with a sprained left ankle. 我們的大前鋒David West也將缺席星期六的練習,因為他扭傷了左腳踝 SIMMONS AGREES TO DEAL: Mark Bartelstein, the agent for free-agent small forward Bobby Simmons, said late Friday night that they had reached a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks on a reported five-year, $47 million contract. The Hornets were one of 16 teams that expressed an interest in Simmons, who averaged 16.1 points for the Los Angeles Clippers last season and earned the league's Most Improved Player award. 我們原本有對Bobby Simmons有興趣的, 但他在星期五以五年4千7百萬的價碼已經準備加入公鹿隊了 ╮(￣﹏￣)╭ "I think we continue to explore, especially now with the Bobby Simmons situation," Bristow said. "He was one of the free agents who definitely would have filled the void at the 3 spot for us. But we now have to go the next layer (of free agents) and see what transpires." The Hornets are looking at several international players to help at small forward and backup shooting guard. Teams cannot sign free agents until July 22. 黃蜂將會觀察一些國際球員,來補小前鋒的洞和替補得分後衛 球隊沒辦法等到7月22號再簽自由球員 PERMISSION DENIED: Los Angeles Lakers coach Phil Jackson told the Los Angeles-area media that the Hornets declined to grant them an interview with New Orleans assistant coach Jim Cleamons for a vacancy on Jackson's staff. Cleamons was an assistant with Jackson when he coached the Lakers from 1999 to 2004. Cleamons also was an assistant on Jackson's staff with the Chicago Bulls from 1989 to 1996. --
