That's because Gentry acknowledged that their emerging defensive force,
center Robin Lopez is "probably a long shot" to return this season because of
back problems.

"We're holding out hope but we're preparing as if he's not going to be here.
If he comes back, it will be a big plus."

Lopez could single-cover big men such as Duncan, a vital asset in playoff
settings.

and he exceeded all our expectations on offense," Gentry said.
