The primary objectives of the site visit are to: ‧ Verify information, such as title, salary, job description, job location, etc., provided on the H-1B visa petitions ‧ Verify the existence of the petitioning employer and the place of employment; ‧ Verify the existence of the beneficiary (i.e. employee) ‧ Interview persons who should be familiar with the petition and job offer. ‧ Verify the stated employer/employee relationship between X and the employee; ‧ Verify that the employee has the requisite experience and/or qualifications. ‧ Verify if the company asked the employee to reimburse the company for the cost of the petition. ‧ Verify ID and Form I-797 (petition approval notice) First Point of Contact: ‧ Lobby Ambassador have been provided detailed instructions on how to handle a visit ‧ Refer to attached “Instruction Page” Second Point of Contact: ‧ Employee’s manager ‧ The site inspector will normally insist on meeting with the employee.
