Arenas volunteers to come off the bench
Gilbert Arenas volunteered to come off the bench as the Magic's sixth man
on Saturday, saying he believes that Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu
should start at SG and SF, respectively.
He doesn't make the calls, but it's probably good news that he's willing to
embrace a role off the bench since Richardson has started most of his career
and Hedo needs all the help he can get right now and a starting job could
boost his confidence and production. As for Arenas' overall value, it takes a
small hit going to Orlando where touches will be lessened and the games have
lower scores.
