June 24 - The proposed deal between the Rockets and Orlando Magic involving
Tracy McGrady and
Steve Francis has been delayed while the Magic continues
to evaluate all of its options regarding the future of McGrady. Orlando GM
John Weisbrod said Wednesday that as many as
seven teams remain in serious
bidding for McGrady. "We're still weighing a lot of options with Tracy,
" Weisbrod told the Orlando Sentinel. "He still could be here this season,
or he could be traded. If we do trade him, I don't think there's any chance
of it happening before the draft." We'll have the latest details as they
become available.
