Hoes, 25, made his Major League debut with the Orioles in 2012 and appeared in three games for Baltimore between 2012-13. The outfielder was traded to the Astros in a 2013 Trade Deadline deal that sent Bud Norris to Baltimore. In three seasons (109 games) with the Astros, Hoes hit .240 with 12 doubles, two triples, four home runs and 22 RBIs.
