Dylan Bundy放入傷兵名單,也確定他2014球季結束。
21歲的Bundy,剛從Tommy John手術的復健中歸隊,球團就給他
每場上限75球的保護條款。
Duquette:"Bundy這次受傷,可能需要
數周的休息",而小聯盟球季
將在數周後結束。
Orioles表示從不期待Bundy能在今年球季做出貢獻(MLB),但期待經過這次的修養,
他明年能健康而且更強壯地參加春訓。

Orioles place Dylan Bundy on minor league disabled list with lat strain
Bundy was evaluated by Orioles team doctors Thursday in Baltimore before the
decision was made to place him on the DL.
Bundy, 21, returned to the mound in June after he underwent Tommy John
reconstructive elbow ligament surgery last year. The organization has handled
him carefully as he has worked his way back, keeping him to a 75-pitch limit
for the remainder of the season.
With just 19 days left in Frederick's season, it’s unclear whether Bundy
will pitch again in the minor leagues this year.
“I think before we get to that point, I think we need to resolve this and
make sure he heals before he does any more activity,” Duquette said. “It
will probably take a couple of weeks [to heal].”
After Frederick's game Tuesday was rained out, Bundy missed his scheduled
start Wednesday in a doubleheader. This season, he is 1-3 with a 3.27 ERA
with 38 hits and 37 strikeouts over 41 1/3 innings between Frederick and
short-season Single-A Aberdeen.
He had allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last three starts, even
though pitch count limits prevented him from going six innings in two of
those outings.
The Orioles had made it clear that they didn’t expect Bundy, who made his
major league debut in 2012, his first full professional season, to contribute
to the major league club this year. But they were expecting him to be at full
strength by spring training next year.
