AUG 28 - NOEL AND SARA ENGAGED? HAVE Noel Gallagher and PR girlfriend Sara MacDonald got secretly engaged? That was the question on everyone's lips backstage at the Reading Festival. For the Oasis star - who's been dating blonde Sarah for just over a year - was seen sporting an enormous gold ring which he refused to let anyone examine. A well-placed source tells us: "Noel was doing everything he could to keep the ring hidden, which was a bit difficult as it was a huge, tacky thing." The plot thickened when one of his flunkies was overheard saying: "You don't want to ruin the announcement." Sara is handling the public relations for phone company Orange at the festival.
