They were hand-picked to support the Gallaghers’ outfit on their 2009 stadium tour. And the Coventry trio got a huge big-up from Noel Gallagher, 41, when he declared: “I’ve liked The Enemy ever since I heard their first single.” Now frontman Tom Clarke, drummer Liam Watts and bassist Andy Hopkins, all 20, are demo-ing tracks for the follow-up to No 1 debut We’ll Live And Die In These Towns. Liam（Watts） told me: “We’ve always been big fans of Oasis. They are normal lads who’ve always stayed true to themselves. That’s what we’re about. “Just because guitar music has taken a dip in the charts lately doesn’t mean we’re suddenly going to start experimenting with electro or anything. “We’re not going to change what we do best, like them. “We’ve got about 30 new tracks that we need to fine-tune before going into the studio.
