Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher has praised US presidential candidate
Barack Obama.
Gallagher admitted that he was "inspired" after watching Obama accept
the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.
"I managed to catch Barack Obama's speech to the Democratic rally.
Impressive stuff. Spellbinding in fact. Wish he was one of ours," he
said in a blog on the band's website.
The band are currently touring the US.
The blog charts the guitarist's thoughts while he is on the road with
the rest of the band.
