GREAT UK TOUR NEWS 28 September - In a new interview Noel has been talking about the upcoming sold out UK mini-tour. Speaking about the setlist he said: "This set list is two hours and contains all of three singles, it's a fans' set, all B sides and album tracks ... stuff we have never played before and believe you me it sounds like we have never played it before!" ㄏㄡ\頭子你別再講了>_<~ 滿滿兩小時的 b-side 和專輯曲，其中還有很多是沒現場演奏過的ㄋㄟ 啊... So the lucky fans going to the show are set to hear some old material such as possibly "Hey Now", "Roll It Over", "Underneath the Sky" ^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ 不可思議 Liam 抒情時刻 Noel also mentioned how it is working with Liam in the studio and stated: "He is getting on my nerves. He is just drifting in the studio. He's not pulling his finger out. One thing I can't bear is lazy people and he seems to be the laziest person I have ever met in my entire life. Nothing seems to be getting done. There seems to be a lot of time spent in the pub, f***ing about and talking at five in the morning. That pisses me off because there are about a million and one kids who play guitars who would love the chance to make records and have the freedom of unlimited studio time. People are just abusing that. But apart from that, me and him are getting on fine.'' 哈哈 Noel 說除了他很受不了孩子王的懶惰，貪玩和不知珍惜錄音時光之外， 他們蓋勒格兄弟現在可正燃著熱情呢;) Noel also spoke about his life with girlfriend Sara and living in London City again: "I decided to try and cope with city life for a while. But I have to say it's getting on my nerves. There are too many people, too many workmen, too many cars. I live underneath the Telecom Tower, and it could come crashing down at any minute these days'' 談到目前和女友在城市的生活 Refering to recent events in New York. Speaking about his religious beliefs: " I am more of a heathen. I am a Catholic, but I don't practise. I think I believe in God but I am not sure at this particular moment in history when people are killing each other in the name of God ... a god, whatever god." 嗯，whatever god... He also spoke about his hometown of Manchester, where Oasis will play 2 nights in the Apollo Theatre in October: "I was up the weekend before last and it was the first time I have walked round for six or seven years. It's really shiny and brand new. I have never seen so many bars in my life, I can be really objective because it's not my home. It's a nice, cool city. The people will always stay the same. But I still wish they would get rid of the trams, 'cause they just look a mess. My girlfriend, Sara, had never walked round Manchester and she was saying: 'It's really posh'. I said: 'It wasn't when I left'." 呵 Noel 也談到他們將會演唱到的老鄉曼徹斯特 對他而言，曼城已經脫胎換骨，蛻變成擁有眾多 pub 的酷城市了！ 還開玩笑道他從來沒去過曼城的女友在第一次到訪時驚訝的表示真是很高尚的城市啊 Noel 回道，我當年離開的時候可不是這樣子的啊;) Noel also dismissed the idea of a greatest hits album ("A greatest hits record, to me, is always a sign of something that is going to end") or a solo album ("It upset the singer, didn't it, his bottom lip curled out and it almost touched the floor")but did reveal his favourite Oasis tracks so far: Rock n Roll Star, Live Forever, Slide Away, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Supersonic, Some Might Say, Don't Look Back In Anger, Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Cast No Shadow, Morning Glory, Don't Go Away, D'You Know What I Mean?, Gas Panic!, Fucking In The Bushes 頭子鄭重否認了將會有“精選輯”(a greatest hits album)或“單飛專輯”的發行 他覺得前者像是一個差不多走到盡頭才做的事，後者會讓主唱不高興。 同時也說了他目前最喜歡的一些 Oasis 歌曲： Rock n Roll Star Live Forever Slide Away Cigarettes & Alcohol Supersonic, Some Might Say Don't Look Back In Anger Wonderwall Champagne Supernova Cast No Shadow Morning Glory Don't Go Away D'You Know What I Mean?, Gas Panic! You have a five minute chat with them and they say `I never knew you were like that'. I would not expect them to know, because every time someone sticks a microphone in front of me, they are asking me questions about stuff I have a strong opinion on and I come across as a bit of a lippy twat. To become the biggest band in England is pressure enough, but then to become the biggest band in the world ... we were so photographed and so over-exposed, though I don't like using that word. We were just everywhere, and it did become a chore for the people reading the papers. We were right in the middle of it so we did not know what was going on in the outside world."
