標題Litmanen doubtful for Wales clash

HELSINKI, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Ajax forward Jari Litmanen is out of Saturday's
Euro 2004 qualifier against Azerbaijan on Saturday and is doubtful for the
trip to Wales next week.
The former Liverpool and Barcelona player has suffered an Achiles injury
and will not trvael with the squad for the first part of of their Group
Nine double-header.
Manager Antti Muurinen confirmed: 'Jari is not going to Azerbaijan. We'll
have a fresh look after that game. It is still possible that he could play
against Wales.'
Muurinen will not be bringing in a replacement for Litmanen in the squad.
Finland visit Cardiff for the last of their qualifiers next Wednesday,
although with only six points from their six matches so far, they have
little chance of making the finals in Portugal.
