繼加盟時的記者會、及之後某段桑德蘭怎麼能和紐卡比的訪談後， 辛普森男孩昨天再次接受 Evening Chronicle 的專訪，談論對主帥及球隊的印象： 關於 Hughton... “I have only known Chris for a little while. ” “But since I’ve been here, he’s been fantastic.” “He’s very professional and puts on good sessions.” “I’ve really taken to him and if he gets the award he deserves it.” 他棒透了，他又有道德、又會訓練，我吃他這套，他當主帥我第一個舉手腳贊成！ 關於紐卡... “I’m loving it – I’ve been here for 10 days and I love the way things are going, I know I’ve only been here for a week or so but I’m really happy – moving here for good is something I’d like to do. It’s a massive club.” 我非常的賣當勞。我目前在這邊待了十天左右，一切都是如此地順利。 我知道我才剛來這邊不久，但我真的過得很爽 -- 這是一支美好的球隊。 “I’ve come here on loan but I want to play week in-week out now, and I’m not put off by the uncertainty. To be honest I’ve not even noticed any of the supposed uncertainty or chaos. Obviously I heard rumours before I came but I’ve come up and it’s been totally normal for me – no different from any other club.” 我是被租過來的，但我希望能夠踢上每一場比賽。 雖然人們有很多揣測，但我覺得紐卡仍然和正常的球隊相同，沒有謠傳的混亂或衝突。 “The players have trained just like any other club, the staff are just the same and you wouldn’t know that all this other stuff is going on. Morale is good and we just want things to keep going now.” 隊友和教練都沒有什麼不同，大家仍然努力不懈，盡量不去理會其他事情。 球員們團結一心，士氣很高，都希望（球隊的連勝）能夠繼續下去。 “We can’t worry about anybody else. We can only worry about our own performances.” 我們只要專注在自己的表現上就好了。 “At the minute we are doing that. If we keep performing like that and putting the same effort in we’ll keep picking up the points.” 如果能和前幾場表現一樣好，那積分就會和吃角子老虎一樣不停掉入手中。 “When it’s like this you can’t wait for the next game.
