剛從曼聯過來我們家的 21 歲右後衛，Danny Simpson，今天接受了 nufc.tv 的專訪， 暢談他租借來紐卡的經過： “It didn’t take long to be honest when I got the offer,” 喔，老實說我毫不猶豫就答應了！ “It’s a massive club. I rang Danny Guthrie, who I’ve known since I was 12, and I couldn’t wait to get up here.” 這是隻很棒的球隊。我 12 歲時就認識格子李了，所以我打了通電話給他， （他和我說了很多），所以我迫不及待想立刻來到這裡！ “It will be an invaluable experience and you learn so much when you go to different clubs.” “I’ve only trained here once but already I can see the quality and I’m looking forward to getting involved.” 能被租出去吸收經驗很讚！ 我才剛完成在紐卡的首次訓練，但我完全能感覺到這裡的水準，也會盡力融入其中。 “With everything that has been going on behind the scenes, it was important that the lads got a good solid performance against Reading and that’s exactly what they managed to do.” 在這款高層們正在暗中搓著圓仔的時刻裡，隊友們能痛擊讀書人實在是太重要了， 這也是他們盡力想要完成的。 “In training (on Monday) the lads went straight into it and you can tell that all they wanted to do was play football.” 星期一的訓練中隊友們都相當專注，你可以說他們都已經完全投入在足球當中。 “I’m just as focused now myself. I can’t wait to get going. I just want to get out there at St James’ Park.” 我則仍然專注在提升自己能力之中。 我等不及想在 SJP 上場比賽啦！ “I’m hopeful I will play on Wednesday (against Sheff Wed), but Saturday was a great win.
