因兩星期前意外傷到眼的的 Dyer 終於在對曼城時復出, 是七個月以來首次參與英超比賽 而且表現很出色 快要去(到底你要不要去(╯‵皿′)╯╩═╩ )美國就醫的 Ameobi 接受The Journal訪問時說： 　　"Kieron's an England international and it's so important for us to have players of his calibre available and in the team," 　　"We have missed him so much over the last year or so. We all know about all his attributes and we know what a huge asset he can be to the team and, as we all saw at the weekend. 　　"He's such a livewire and he brings so much to our team. I'm absolutely delighted for him because he has been through so much, both on and off the pitch, and it's great to see him out there." Ameobi相信Dyer的復出可讓球隊成績回升, 脫離榜末： 　　 　　"He's a strong lad, a strong character and I'm sure now all the injuries are behind him and he can take this team forward and away from the bottom of the Premiership. I just hope I get another chance to play with him this season." 說到他自己的傷勢： 　　"I'm facing a long time out like Kieron and I have to prepare myself," 　　"I have been fortunate in my career and have never had a long spell out. But this is something that has to be sorted. If I left it as it was, it would be career-threatening. It is disappointing and it will be a difficult time. But it's a no-brainer for me.
