展覽名稱 Title｜夜越台北-大衛‧維貝克影像展An Exhibition of Image Art by David Verbeek 展覽時間 Date｜2012.1.20-2012.2.26 展覽地點 Venue｜台北當代藝術館 MOCA Studio 門票Ticket prices｜ 免費 Free 貼心小叮嚀│本展適合闔家觀賞,免費 Note / This exhibiton is for general public,Free 展覽簡介Exhibition Introduction 荷籍導演大衛維貝克自2009年於台灣拍攝電影《你在嗎？》之後，他的電影創作與人生經 歷即與台灣這片土地產生了不可分割的緊密聯結。來回台灣十餘次，背著行囊穿越城市與 鄉鎮，維貝克善於用鏡頭捕捉台灣風情，透過靈敏的光圈與快門，以動態電影與靜態攝影 展現深具台灣原味的影像魅力。 大衛‧維貝克為國際影展常客，本次展出的電影作品《你在嗎？》於2010年獲邀參加坎城 影展「特別關注」單元，此後更陸續於全球56個重要影展放映，台灣文化風情隨著他的作 品而傳遍了不同的舞台與國度。繼2010年金馬影展短暫的公開放映後，本片於當代館連續 五週免費放映，有利於本地觀眾欣賞品味一個歐洲導演眼中的台灣和台北。而於美術館中 放映此片，也反映了藝術電影被納入當代藝術範疇中評賞的文化顯相模式。 本展另一系列作品《夜台北》，展出65幅夜間攝影作品，分別以投影機、燈箱與數位相框 三種媒體輪流播放；不同媒介、不同的播放速度觀賞頻率，交錯鋪陳《夜台北》靈光閃動 的誘惑魅力，也為台灣觀眾開啟了一扇窺探台北的神秘夜窗。 After making the film RU There in Taipei in 2009, the films and creative journey of Dutch director Verbeek have had an indissoluble tie to this land. Visiting Taiwan more than a dozen times, carrying his case through towns and cities, Verbeek is adept at capturing the charm of Taiwan with his lens, through highly sensitive aperture and shutter displaying the charm of authentically Taiwanese images. Verbeek is a regular at international film festivals and his film RU There, shown in this exhibition, was selected for participation in the Un Certain Regard category of the 2010 Cannes Film Festival and was then shown at 56 important film festivals around the world, placing the culture of Taiwan center stage in many different countries. After a brief public showing at the Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival in 2010, the film was shown free for five successive weeks at MOCA, giving local audiences a chance to appreciate how Taiwan and Taipei are seen through the eyes of a European director. The showing of the film in an art museum also reflects the cultural manifestation model of art films being appreciated within the scope of contemporary art. Nocturnal Taipei, another series of works in this exhibition, features 65 photographs, taken in the city by night, shown alternately by projector, light box and digital photo frame; different media, different playing speed and frequency combine to give Nocturnal Taipei sparklingly seductive charm, and open a secret night window through which the people of Taiwan can peep at the city. http://www.mocataipei.org.tw/blog/post/27761949 --
