標題Stefanski: Carter Not Likely to Opt Out of Contract

Ed Stefanski in an interview with WFAN gave the clearest indication yet that
talks between the Nets and Vince Carter are going well. "We feel
comfortable", Stefanski said when asked if the team was going to extend
Carter. "We don't expect Vince to opt out." Stefanski added, "Right now, we
like our nucleas and were gonna to give it another shot". As for a Kevin
Garnett trade, Stefanski was not optimistic: "I don't see what we could do"
but said the team would "make the call"
Stefanski 在WFAN的廣播採訪之中回答籃網和卡特的商談狀況良好。
「我們覺得很合適」
當Stefanski 被問到是否將要延長卡特的合約。
「我們不預期VC會跳脫他最後一年的合約(明年)。
現在，我們很喜歡目前的核心，並且要再給他們另外一次的機會」
至於KG的交易案，Stefanski 不大樂觀。
「我不認為我們可以做些什麼，不過至少我們會打個電話去問」
