Ni was upset, his head down while the Tigers were congratulating each other,
so Leyland called him into his office after Placido Polanco's bases-loaded
sacrifice fly won the game.
"I told him, 'So what, we won. You're not going to do it every time. I don't
want to see you with your head down,' Leyland said. "He felt bad, but was
smiling after I spoke with him."
