The ship, being described as an international urban cruise ship by its Japanese owners, Japan Contents Network Inc, will be 20 decks high and have a gross tonnage of 450,000. It is planned that the vessel w ill be ordered in 2008 for delivery in 2012. When complete, the ship will accommodate 8,400 passengers in 3,600 passenger cabins and 4,000 crew. The passenger accommodation will be housed in three separate sections within the ship. Princess Kaguya will be 505 metres long and will have a Breadth of 58 metres making her post-panamax.
