Maxwell 在例行賽倒數第二場比賽撲接球的時候一不小小弄傷了左手肘，結果只好跑去
開 Tommy John 手術....不過幸好他的慣用手是右手，所以不必像小史一樣休養12～18
個月，Maxwell 希望能在明年春訓之前完全康復。

Nationals outfielder Justin Maxwell is recovering from Tommy John surgery on
his non-throwing elbow, according to the Nationals official public relations
publications blog. Maxwell injured himself diving for a ball in the second-
to-last game of the season.
Since Maxwell hurt his left elbow and not his throwing arm, the ligament-
replacement surgery will not take the typical 12-to-18 months. Maxwell hopes
he can be at full strength by mid-February, just before spring training
begins.
Maxwell, 27, hit .144/.305/.288 (average/on-base/slugging) this season in
sporadic playing while toggling between the majors and Class AAA Syracuse.
