Sorry to ruin your Strasmas with some bad news. Class A Hagerstown pitcher
Jack McGeary will have Tommy John surgery, ending his season and ensuring he
will not pitch again for the next 12 to 18 months.
McGeary, in a unique arrangement, attended Stanford while starting his major
league career. As of spring training, McGeary needed to complete two quarters
to finish his degree. This year, McGeary is 4-1 with a 4.62 ERA with 32
strikeouts in 39 innings pitched.
難怪會被降到新秀聯盟
