For rent: Two bedroom apartments available in a walkup private
townhouse located on East 130th Street between Park and Madison
Avenues in Harlem New York City.
The units will be available on February 1st, 2009.
I have five units available for rent.
The apartments range from 800 square feet ($1,700 per month)
on the garden level, 900 square feet on the 1st floor
($1,800 per month) and 990 square feet for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th
floors ($1,900 per month).
The master bedrooms are larger than the other bedroom in each
apartment. The lease is for one-year minimum. All units have
been totally renovated with new kitchens and appliances, new
bathrooms and new laminated floors. There is also a coin operated
washer and dryer in the basement.
Each apartment has its own independent boiler heating unit and
hot water tank. Tenants pay for all utilities including gas for
heating and hot water and of course, electricity.
The apartments are shown by appointment only. Showing times are
Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 6pm to 7pm. Saturday and Sundays
from 11am to 12pm. There is no broker’s fee charged as I am the
owner of the building, however there is a non-refundable credit and
criminal background fee search for all applicants.
Brokers are welcome but no exclusives are allowed.
All potential applicants must submit (originals only)
and be subjected to the following:
1.) Government issued ID and social security number
2.) 2008 W-2 form
3.) Two most recent pay stubs. Need to make 35-40 times
the rent amount.
4.) Bank statement showing at least 6 months of reserves available
5.) Three written references; one must be from your
current landlord
6.) Submit $85 for a credit and criminal background search
7.) One-month security as an initial deposit,
one-month rental up front upon final approval.
