the following roster moves:
‧Placed RHP Ron Marinaccio on the 15-day I.L. (retroactive to 10/3) with
a stress reaction to the right shin.
‧Returned from rehab and reinstated RHP Albert Abreu (#84) from the 15-day
I.L.
(2) @Yankees: Prior to Game 1 of today’s doubleheader, the Yankees appointed
RHP Greg Weissert (#85) as the “29th Man.”
(3) @Yankees: Today, the Yankees outrighted RHP Jacob Barnes off the Major
League roster and onto the roster of Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
(4) @BryanHoch: Ron Marinaccio will be placed on the IL with a stress reaction
in his right shin. Aaron Boone said that they hope Marinaccio could be
available for a potential ALCS.
(5) @BryanHoch: Gleyber Torres is still "under the weather" with what
the Yankees described as flu-like symptoms. There has been an illness going
around the clubhouse for weeks. Aaron Boone said that "most of us are at
the back end of whatever's been going around."

#AaronJudge is starting his 54th consecutive game today (yes,
the Yanks have had a few off-days sprinkled in, but still).
