Adam Dunn 在第四局 0好3壞的情況之下 轟出一支超大號陽春彈
然後Johnson打了一隻左中外野的三壘安打
Melky Cabrera飛撲嘗試去接，但球卻因此一直滾到了全壘打牆腳
國民隊左投手John Lannan是紐約長島本地人，在前四局保持無安打比賽
直到第五局Robinson Cano一上場的陽春彈才破了功~
靠著快速的投球節奏及球速的變化Lannan成為另一個令洋基在主場吃鱉的投手。
Johnny Damon在第九局一上來就從Lannan手中轟出全壘打....
