After having an X-ray taken at Shea Stadium, Zambrano, in tears and with his
elbow having swelled up, was taken to a Manhattan hospital for an MRI.
Zambrano's agent, Peter Greenberg, told Newsday last night the MRI revealed a
torn flexor tendon in the pitcher's elbow. Zambrano will most likely be out for
the season.
"Obviously, Victor's very down," Greenberg said. "He was pitching with
discomfort and he knew there was something wrong, but he was trying to tough it
out. It's the end of the line for this year."
Greenberg said Zambrano will speak with the doctor tomorrow to schedule the
surgery and might seek a second opinion, though that seems unnecessary. "If
it's torn, it's torn," Greenberg said. "It's just one of those things."

看來Zambrano本季是報銷了,手肘的問題要動手術
雖然Zambrano不好用,但頂一頂先也是可以,現在受傷,SP一下少了三個
除了先前的Bannister外,還有中指受傷的Maine,所以今天緊急從3A調上老將Jose Lima
看來這一陣子要出現相當嚴重的SP荒
Minaya可能又開始考慮季中交易了~~~
