2006Roverway歐洲區羅浮大會(急！報名即將截止) 什麼是Roverway? 2006年八月六日到十四日於義大利舉行，主營地是Loppiano 這個活動提供青年們一個機會去認識歐洲各種不同的文化與傳統。他由世界童軍運動 組織與世界女童軍運動組織以及義大利童軍總會主辦，提供童軍組織成員中16~22歲的 青年夥伴參加。 他是一個教育性的活動，對於全球化的議題如環境、政治、文化以及科學的危機公開 探討。 PS.我認為這個活動會和2004在台灣辦的Moot有些類似，反正羅浮大會有一定的模式。 主題 文藝復興運動 報名費 三百四十歐元 包含八月六日晚餐到八月十四日早餐、營地以及各個路線的交通、領巾與營地手冊以 及所有活動所需的經費。 路線 多達一百多條，都在義大利境內 Environment and nature (green)(自然與環境) What are the urgent environmental problems in our territory and what are their characteristics? A deep change in life-style, based on the respect of nature, is essential for a world of peace … The most important discoveries of the Renaissance came from the observation of nature. History and traditions (white)(歷史與傳統) Only the memory of the past will allow us to grow and live without making again the same mistakes. What important events took place in the region where we are travelling? And which events should not be forgotten in Europe? How can we have memories in a rapidly changing world? …Guicciardini wrote “The Italian History” in the XVI Century: is it just a coincidence? Art and Culture (red)(藝術與文化) The key-word is identity: what kind of discoveries and representations of reality? What are the consequences in everyday life? Which instruments? Immigration brings along other cultural patterns. How can we accept them? … The XVI Century Renaissance is first of all an artistic one: Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, and also Brunelleschi and Bramante. Politics and society (grey) (政治與社會) What are the current alternativf for political engagement? The law of power against the power of law, a humane welfare against the universalism of rights, the fear of unlikeness against the trust in the human being, the idea of reaching individual success against any idea of social agreement and unity … Modern political science started with “Il Principe” by Nicolo Machiavelli. Science and technology (yellow)(科學與技術) Possibilities seem endless, but are they really sustainable? The freedom of mankind depends on science?
