Sovereignty vs. Responsibility to Protect

今天大家討論得很熱烈，
很認真準備5min "For"或"Against"的statement :)
我站在角落，好奇的等待著你們的驚喜。
MUN的驚喜，不全然在於讓像我這樣的聽眾嘴角張揚的幅度;
我會特別在意聽完，我的口白是
"Yeah, you're right." (I'm convinced.)
或是
"Yeah right." (I disagree.)
此刻想來閒聊，就是因為心裡有一個疑惑，想要聽更多。(你會點進來，顯然你很閒)
故事是這樣發生的:
第A題: In the era of globalization, do you think we
still need the concept of sovereignty?
記得嗎? 第一組For的同學十分幽默的演了許多conditions(笑)
你們演了很多需要援助的condition，
而UN都是以"Sorry, you're not a sovereign state." "God bless you."-拒絕支援。
所以we need the concept of sovereignty.
.............
hmm...
You argue that UN helps only those recognized as sovereign states.
Therefore, we need sovereignty so helpless conditions can receive help.
Are you sure? Are you? Kindly answer my question then.

situations you presented happen? That UN will not help those not considered
a sovereign state?
If there wasn't this concept, why
wouldn't UN help?

其實因為第一題是我出的，特別有感覺吧。
所以想聽聽大家的想法。
