The Graduate School Life Science Munich (LSM) is inviting outstanding bachelor (at least 7th semester) or master students with a strong background in natural sciences to join us for eight weeks of compelling and demanding research. Participants are expected to be deeply interested in working in the lab and in being a contributing part of a research group. Willingness to work and extensive efforts will be requested from the students (attendance is obligatory during regular working hours). Scholarships are available. Starting date is Monday, August 6, 2011 (arrival on Saturday August 4, 2012). The Summer Research Program will start with a welcome meeting on Monday morning. In the following, the students will start practical work. During the program all participants will have the opportunity to get in close contact with LSM graduate students, to get insights in current PhD projects and to get an impression of the challenging LSM graduate program. At the end of their stay all participants will present the results of their work explaining their reserach project within the Summer School.
